New Costco warehouses are expanding nationwide with member privileges and bulk item discounts. There are 572 places in America, 22% of which are in California.
Natomas, California residents can rejoice—a Costco is coming. The 10th Sacramento warehouse will open by 2023.
Mid-last week, Sacramento City Councilmember Angelique Ashby tweeted that the 160,000-square-foot warehouse will hopefully open for the holidays.
"Costco is working with the city and our office, preparing a site plan, and building elevations with the intent to submit the project to the city for an expedited review
This location does not have a petrol station, but Chipotle, Wendy's, and Starbucks are planned.
The revelation thrilled Twitter users, who said, "Yay! Finally!" and "Dreams do come true."
Costco offers Gold Star and Executive memberships. Basic Gold Star costs $60 per year and allows two membership cards per household.
Gold Star members can use the food court, pharmacy, eye clinic, tire center, and travel offers.
The Executive membership costs twice as much but includes a 2% rewards program, a free Costco Connection Magazine subscription
