McDonald's Is Bringing This New Burger To 600 More U.S.

McDonald's has been sluggish to release its new McPlant burger, but the corporation is ready.

In an amended press release on Thursday, McDonald's said that 600 more shops will offer the plant-based meal in February after months of limited availability.

The chain's first plant-based burger, produced with Beyond Meat, will be available in San Francisco Bay and Dallas-Fort Worth on February 14.

Eight U.S. restaurants in Irving and Carrollton, Texas, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jennings and Lake Charles, La., and El Segundo and Manhattan Beach,

The burger was tested in Europe before its restricted home release. In 2021, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Austrian, and U.K. customers tasted the McPlant

It took longer to develop in the U.K. and is vegan, but reviewers have compared it to a Big Mac, which is impressive for the chain.

The UK's Vegetarian Society has certified the burger as vegan, meaning it is free of animal products and cooked separately from McDonald's non-vegan goods.
